Good afternoon and happy Monday! As always, I hope that everyone had a great weekend! See below for this weeks updates and info.
If you check out the website and log into the member side of things, remember that the password is provided in the email version of Monday updates or is available upon request.
NAR Safety Webinar Recap
Last week I shared a link for a NAR safety webinar on both the private Facebook page and in the Monday Update. If you were not able to attend the webinar, I have attached the link to it below. I thought Carl provided a lot of good tips and his story gave me goosebumps. Definitely worth the watch if you can set aside an hour. You can never do too much to keep yourself safe!
WRA Annual Convention Info
The WRA has finally released information on the 2020 Annual Convention, which will be held September 14-16th. They are hosting both live and virtual options, so make sure you don't miss out! Click the link below to be taken to the information pages.
MLS Monsoon Training Video
On Friday MetroMLS sent out an email with a video on how to use their new Monsoon Tax system. I thought I would include the video here for anyone who might have missed it/not have gotten that email.
For all you dog lovers out there! Hope this dumb joke makes you smile! Have a FANTASTIC week!!
*Brokers/Affiliates who use MLS - I sent out the MLS invoices last week. Make sure to get those paid by their due dates, and remember to have checks made payable to MCBR MLS!
* The WRA and I are still working out the particulars of CE 5 & 6. As soon as I know anything, I'll let you guys know!
What's Up In the Office
Last week I was able to spend more hours actually in the office. I spent a fair amount of time doing regular office things like I normally do (ie: processing payments, answering emails and phone calls, checking the MLS, etc.).
I watched the NAR Safety webinar last week (linked above). The story the man told about his mother gave me goosebumps, and while I've been learning how important Realtor Safety over the last few months, there was a lot that he said that still shook me. There were also a lot of helpful tips in the presentation. NAR just released amazing social media templates for AE's to use, and I've already scheduled 8 posts in a series that I am calling #safetytiptuesday. Watch out for those on our private FB page! Lastly, I learned that September is Realtor Safety Month, and I've already started brainstorming some ideas for fun/helpful things to do!
This week I will be in the office for a good chunk of time:
Monday: until 3:00pm
Thursday: 6:30am - 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Sometimes I do step out over the lunch hour to grab food or run and errand, so it never hurts to text before stopping in. 🙂
I hope you all have a safe and wonderful week!
On Saturday Ben and I celebrated our 5th anniversary! We got 2 apple trees to plant in honor of the event, and I picked up 2 of these amazing giant cinnamon rolls from French Creek Bakery. These rolls have special meaning to us; our wedding cake was made out of them! (Along with the "cake" we got enough for all of our guests to have their own. It was cinnamon roll city!) If you've never had one of these rolls, I highly suggest going to visit Karen at French Creek Bakery to get one for yourself! You won't be disappointed!
