Good afternoon and happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and all of the fathers had a fantastic Father's Day! Ours was low key. We had a small, family only graduation party for my step-son on Saturday, and Sunday we were too exhausted to do much!

2020 Golf Outing Update
After a significant amount of conversation, the Golf Committee has decided to take a year off from having the annual MCBR Golf Outing. While it was not an easy decision to make, they feel that it is the best given the current circumstances. There are ideas in the works about doing some type of fundraiser in the late fall/winter to raise a smaller amount of donation dollars to give away. Stay tuned for more details on that!
September Meeting Info
As of right now, the MCBR Board of Directors is planning on having a September Membership Meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 17th. The Education Committee is working out the details, and we will share more information with you soon!
RPAC & Direct Giver
Typically during summer we would have a membership picnic/party where we would raise RPAC dollars toward the goal that WRA sets for us each year. Unfortunately, this year we won't be able to host that event, so I wanted to remind you about Direct Giver. If you plan on giving to a state, local, or national campaign, please consider doing it through WRA's Direct Giver program. All of your money goes to the candidate you want, but MCBR still gets credit toward our fundraising goals. Remember, RPAC funds are disbursed on a nonpartisan basis to Democrats and Republicans alike, based on issues and support of the REALTOR® legislative agenda.
MLS Vetting Committee
We are looking for a few people who would be interested in sitting on a committee and researching and vetting MLS's. Our current MLS contract is coming due soon, and we want to make sure we are doing our due diligence and ensuring we are using the MLS that is best for our members. If you would be interested in serving on this committee, or if you have questions, please email me by clicking the link below.
Members in Motion
There were no Members in Motion reported to the Board office in the last week.

You may remember a few weeks back we took in a small group of young chicks. Eli instantly had a favorite - this silkie chick he named Snowball. Lately he's been bringing Snowball out and giving her tours of the yard and rides in the wheelbarrow. This may sound kind of crazy, but I think she really enjoys it!
This week my Office hours will be:

What's Up In The Office
Last week I spent a fair amount of time working in Quickbooks. This work included following up on outstanding invoices, and invoicing for the 3rd Quarter MLS dues & lockboxes. Just as a friendly reminder, when paying MLS dues (if you are paying the office directly and not through your broker) PLEASE remember to make the check out to MCBR MLS. We have 2 different companies in Quickbooks and it's very important to make sure your checks are written out to the correct company. If they are not, I will be contacting you for a new check.
I also spent more time working on the New Realtor Orientation presentation that we will be holding on July 8th. This revised Orientation relies on the help of volunteer speakers that enhance the content, so reaching out to those speakers and coordinating things takes some effort. It's completely worth it though!
We have another new Realtor who has asked to join MCBR, so she and I took some time together to get her paperwork done last week. Her name will be shared in an upcoming Update, once the Membership Committee has had a chance to review her application.
I want to let everyone know too that I am working on the fall CE 5 & 6 classes. They have been scheduled for November 5th for a while, but now I am in communication with the WRA about potential changes and how we may have to adjust things due to COVID. Once I know more, and the Board and I have discussed options, I will get you more details.
