I am so sorry everyone! I went into Constant Contact today to send the election reminder, and saw this sitting, unsent in my campaigns. I thought for sure I sent it Tuesday! Oops!! Anyway, here are this week's updates:

Hello everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable 3 day weekend! With this shortened week, I have a lot going on, so let's get to the updates! As always, click the link below if you'd like to visit the website to see the most recent meeting minutes, etc. As always, the password is available in the Weekly Updates Email or by request.

MLS Policy Changes

As a reminder, there were some recent changes to the MLS Policy & Procedure. These include changing the 48 hour rule for upload a listing to 1 business day, as well as enforcement of Clear Cooperation. These will both go into effect starting June 15th. WRA Direct Giver Program

Have you been thinking about giving a donation to RPAC (Realtor Political Action Committee) but unsure how to do it? WRA's Direct Giver Program makes it really easy! The Direct Giver Program also allows you to maintain control of where your money goes (even to state and local elections), while still giving the Association credit toward our annual fundraising goal set for us by the WRA.

Why give to RPAC? Just one reason: lobbyists in Madison helped insure that Realtors were considered essential and kept working during the recent Safer At Home order.

Election Day - This Thursday!

As a reminder, this Thursday, May 28th is Election Day for MCBR!
Return your absentee ballots by 9am on the 28th for them to be valid!
You may also opt to vote in person on Thursday from 4-6pm at the Board office.

Members in Motion

There were no Members in Motion reported to the Board office in the past week.

Katelyn's Corner

This weekend we worked on planting our garden! So far we got beans, peas, potatoes, onions, cabbage, collards, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, celery, tomatoes, jalapenos, bell pepper, luffa, beets, and some corn planted. We still have more veggies that need to go in the ground yet too!

Today's "Dumb Joke" is not a joke, but a link to a funny Real Estate related article. Have you seen it? Someone posed as Bigfoot in some home photos, and I think it's fantastic!!
I hope it makes you smile too!

What's Up In The Office

It's no surprise that I spent a fair amount of time last week working on sending out absentee ballots!

On Friday I was able to get a lot of work done on Core Standards. As a reminder, Core Standards is a list of 61 items that the Association has to do to remain in compliance with NAR. Items on this list include things such as: community involvement, staff education, RPAC work, and financial info such as when our audit was done/what the findings were. Proof has to be uploaded to the compliance tool for almost everything on the list. I am very happy to report that we have officially completed 20 items already!!

This week is a busy week in the office! We are hosting an Orientation tomorrow for some of the Realtors who have joined in the 1st quarter, so that they are able to vote in Thursday's election. And of course, the Election on Thursday will keep my busy as well! Not to mention all the day to day office work!

In the next few weeks I hope to have our child care issues figured out and the new plan finalized, so looking forward to being back in the office full time soon! I'll keep you all updated as to when that will happen!
