COVID Friendly Volunteer Opportunities

Felician Village has a number of volunteer jobs open for people who are still social distancing due to COVID, but who would also like to help out in the community!

Do you paint, draw, write poetry or take photographs?
Send images to have displayed on the FV internal TV channel for residents to enjoy!

Do you play an instrument or sing?
Record yourself playing songs and send the recordings to be shared on the FV internal TV channel!

Do you enjoy running errands?
Volunteer to pick up groceries at local stores for FV residents. (Store puts groceries in your car, and car can be unloaded by FV staff or can be put on the person's porch for no-contact.)

Do you enjoy conversations, and have both of your COVID vaccination's?

Visiting with residents is always an option too!

To volunteer, please contact Megan Bruckschen, FV At Home Manager, at 920-684-7171 x425 or mbruckschen@felicianvillage.org.

Volunteers must fill out an application and undergo a background check. There are no set time commitments required. (Ex: you don't have to agree to do a minimum of 10 hours per month, etc.)

In spring, there may be more volunteer opportunities as well!

What's Up In The Office

March 1st! Holy moly! I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like time is moving so fast, but so slow, at the same time! I want spring to be here so I can start planting outside, but at the same time, I don't want time to fly by so fast!

There are all sorts of things going on in the office! The Professional Standards chair, Barry Nelson, and I have been busy working on ethics & arbitration and creating a well defined system for handling complaints. Membership Chair Judy Stuebs has been working very hard to revamp some bylaw wording, the New Realtor application, and a step by step process for Brokers and New Realtors to follow. I've been helping her out as she needs it, and I can't wait for the final results! Last week Tuesday I met the Sheboygan County and Ozaukee County AE's for lunch in Plymouth. The networking was great, and we came up with a number of great ideas to work together on!
This week I'll be working on reconciliations, financials, and all the other stuff that happens at the start of a month!
The new Core Standards certification form should be available this week too, so I hope to hit the ground running with that!

Have a WONDERFUL week everyone!
