New MCBR Board Member
Randy Broeckert has recently stepped down from his position as director on the MCBR Board.
On Monday, the Board voted Jason Koenig in to fill the open spot. Jason works for Berkshire Hathaway here in Manitowoc.
Welcome Jason! We feel you will be a great asset to the Board!
And also, thank you to Randy Broeckert for your service. We appreciate all you have done for MCBR!

The new chairs have been set for each committee, and now we are in need of our talented members to step up and serve on these committees! The committees are listed below. If you are interested in joining one, or have any questions, please email me or the committee chair!

Change in Delayed Listings
Recently both MCBR and MLS Board of Directors voted to change the Delayed Listing terms to be no more than 21 days. Prior our rules were 15 days, however this did not match the form most of you use in Zipforms, and did not match what Metro does. To keep things consistent, it is now 21 days.
Realtor of the Year & Affiliate of the Year Nominations
It is time to send in nominations for the Realtor of the Year & Affiliate of the Year!
If you have a person in mind that you would like to nominate, please email me and I'll send you the nomination form!
Forms must be returned to the Board office by December 1st to be considered.
Team Up Against Hunger Challenge!
Don't forget! This week is the Team Up Against Hunger Challenge that we are doing with the Sheboygan County Board of Realtors!
Collect non-perishable food items, take a picture of yourself with the items, and deliver the items to the Board office by Friday at noon! (Contactless drop off is available.) On Friday, the Sheboygan AE and I will each count the amount of donations collected, and whichever Board brings in the most will get a trophy!
Donations collected by our Board will be split up and donated to both Peter's Pantry in Manitowoc, and the Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry!
Please help us end hunger in our community!
Realtor Ring Day - December 4th!
Realtor Ring Day is set for December 4th! If you are able to take a ringing shift this day, please email me!
Shifts are 2 hours long (but can be split into 1 hour shifts) and we are stationed at 4 locations: Rob's Market, CVS, Piggly Wiggly - Manitowoc, and Pick-n-Save in Two Rivers.
The Salvation Army will provide hand sanitizer. Mask are encouraged.
Please email me with questions or to sign up!
I hope I didn't use this one! As a "chicken tender", I love this joke!!
Also: chicken in a tub!
What's Up In The Office
Last week was a bit challenging for me due to my son being home sick with a cold and having to work from home. I was not quite as productive as I was hoping to be. This week is completely opposite however. Yesterday started off with the MCBR Board meeting, where a number of tasks were assigned, but I've already made good progress on them.
We are working to put committees together and get their tasks organized which is a large project, but moving along well. (See the section above about committees). I also have to put some finishing touches on the Core Standards, work with the accounting firm on a review of Fiscal Year 2020, continue to process dues, scheduling the last New Realtor Orientation for the year, etc.
This week is also when most of the education sessions are for the NAR Convention. There are a fair number that I would like to log into and learn from, so if I don't answer the phone right away, please note I may be in a session.
Have a great week!
