- Course 3: Wisconsin New Developments; provides licensees mandatory instruction on the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services complaint and discipline process. This course analyzes new statutes and administrative code provisions that affect your transactions and looks at the history that led to those changes. Finally, Course 3 reviews Wisconsin case law, including a case that affects when a firm earns a commissions
- Course 4: Wisconsin Real Estate Ethics and Consumer Protection; provides licensees mandatory instruction on misrepresentation and concealment. Course 4 explores how to negotiate professionally and build better relationships with fellow agents. You’ll explore your toolbox of options for working with other agents professionally to advance the interest of your clients. You’ll also learn what is new in the ever-evolving world of fair housing and how best practices can help you avoid a fair housing complaint. This course will satisfy the National Association of REALTORS® code of ethics requirements.

Classes are FREE to MCBR Members. Non-members pay $50.00.

RSVP’s are REQUIRED to attend.
No Shows – All registrants who do not attend the class without giving notice by 8:30 am the morning of the class will be charged a $50.00 no show fee.
Continuing Education – All licensees must complete six Department of Safety and Professional Services approved courses for a total of 18 hours before December 14, 2020. To maintain real estate licenses in the state of Wisconsin, real estate licensees must complete 18 hours of continuing education (CE) every 2 years. The 18 hours must include completion of 3 hours for each of the 6 required course topics. There are no longer elective courses as part of the 18 required hours. The WRA’s Continuing Education courses are approved courses and satisfy this requirement.
New Licensees – Please note that newly licensed Real Estate Salespersons and Brokers are no longer exempt from completing the CE requirements for the biennium in which they were licensed. Only Salespersons licensed after October 1, 2020, are exempt from completing the 2019/2020 CE requirements.
