Affiliate Night/ MCBR Elections
Everyone is invited to Affiliate Night & Elections for the MCBR.
Thursday, May 10th.
Doors open at 5 PM. Fill out your Ballot and then visit the Affiliate Booths from 5-7 PM.
Voting is for 2018-2019 Officers & Directors and Approval of Lockbox Expenditures.
Voting in person need at Fox Hills between 5:00pm-6:45pm. Ballots will be counted at 6:45pm.
Dinner at 7 PM. There is no cost for Affiliates and Realtors. Guests and Admins will be invoiced. Cancellations without 24 hour notice will be invoiced. The event is free, however if you show up without an RSVP to Diane, you will be invoiced a $5.00 fee to have more food prepared.
Register for dinner by Thursday, May 4th.
We will be collecting food for local food pantries.
Canned Food Drive – Please bring an item to donate.
Elections – The Nominating Committee email went out on Thursday, April 19th. Voting will take place at Fox Hills Resort, Mishicot on May 10th. All REALTOR® Members that are voting in person need to be at Fox Hills between 5:00pm-6:45pm. Ballots will be counted at 6:45 PM.
Any Realtor® that would like to vote absentee can contact me for a form starting April 26th.
Absentee voting will take place starting April 26th and will conclude 9 AM on May 10th.
Professional Standards Training
We are partnering with the Sheboygan County Board of REALTORS® for this interactive day of education. The training delivers a variety of participatory exercises and role-plays to give hands-on experience to attendees who serve on grievance committees, professional standards hearing panels, and appeal and procedural review tribunals.
When an ethics complaint is made or an arbitrable dispute is filed with the board office, we rely on our members who have attended Professional Standards training to sit on a grievance committee or hearing panel. The training is free with lunch provided.

A committee is being formed to discuss the features and benefits of being a MCBR member. If you are interested, please let Diane know at 973-7748 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our website was recently updated with the assistance of a great committee of volunteers. Please send any updates, changes, errors or omissions to Diane Wallander at the Board Office via email email@example.com. She will assign a team member to update or correct the site. This is a site that will prove to be a valuable resource for all our members as well as the general public.

Industry Panel Discussion
We would like to put together a panel discussion and invite 2-3 representatives from the different industries (lenders, title companies, inspectors, attorneys, appraisers, real estate agents etc.). We will solicit questions, comments ahead of time and provide the questions to the panelists before the event. The goal for the event is to help people understand why the different industries do things certain ways, help understanding with transaction etiquette and provide knowledge as to why things are done the way they are. This will be good before getting into the busy summer season and hopefully create better communication. After the discussion will put the questions into a FAQ for all the membership.
If you are interested in being a part of the panel or would like to submit questions, please reach out to one of the officers or directors of the board.
Still in early planning stages, looking at late April as a tentative time to hold this panel discussion.
